YMCA Wirral is seeking an exceptional Chief Executive Officer to steer the organisation through its next phase of growth and deliver life-changing support to those in need. Rooted in Christian values, we are dedicated to building inclusive, empowering communities where individuals, especially young people, can belong, contribute, and thrive. 

Working pattern: 37.5 hours per week (including flexible working and occasional evenings/weekends). Part-time is also considered.

About you

• A proven track record in senior leadership, ideally within the charity, housing or social impact sectors. 
• Strong strategic thinking and the ability to translate vision into action. 
• A passion for empowering individuals and a deep understanding of the challenges faced by vulnerable communities. 
• Exceptional relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders, funders and partners. 
• Financial and operational acumen, ensuring sustainability and growth. 
• Experience in performance management, strategic planning and governance. 
• A commitment to the Christian values and ethos of YMCA Wirral.
