The role

This is an exciting opportunity for you to join YMCA Black Country Group.

YMCA West Bromwich is looking to appoint motivated and committed individuals to join the Coffee Shop team. Training will be provided. You’ll be at the heart of our coffee shop, serving food and drinks, handling the till, supporting volunteers and helping with kitchen duties. You’ll also prepare catering for meetings and events while delivering great customer service and upselling products.

Working Pattern: 16 hours per week

About you

• Be able to clearly express yourself verbally using excellent communication, good grammar, vocabulary and a friendly voice, as well as excellent body language and eye contact.
• Demonstrate a neat, professional appearance, outgoing personality and a willingness to assist others.
• Be flexible, proactive and willing to take on new challenges.
• Have a friendly, enthusiastic approach with a can-do attitude.
• Be client/customer-focused, polite, professional, courteous and attentive at all times.
