Maintenance Officer

The role

This is an exciting opportunity for you to join YMCA Black Country Group.

YMCA Black Country Group is looking for experienced and competent Maintenance Officers with a comprehensive knowledge of building repairs and maintenance, including carpentry, ground maintenance, painting & decorating, and DIY skills. Candidates must have a full, clean UK driving licence, a personal vehicle with business insurance, and be willing to work across sites as required.

Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week

About you

• Health & Safety Regulations, including COSHH and risk assessment, and how they apply in YMCA’s environment.
• Evidence of ability to carry out maintenance tasks.
• First aid qualification.
• Flexible working pattern to meet the role’s needs and support the Responsible Person to deal with emergencies.
