Practical Work Skills Tutor

The role

This is an exciting opportunity for you to join YMCA Derbyshire.

YMCA Derbyshire is seeking candidates with skill sets in construction and horticulture-based skills, IT and digital skills, and maths and English. The successful candidate will be comfortable delivering maths and English sessions up to functional skill level 2 or equivalent.

Working Pattern: 14 hours per week

About you

• CET or equivalent or commitment to work towards
• GCSE maths and English at level 4 or above (or equivalent).
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Databases and Outlook.
• TAQA 3 qualification or commitment to work towards.
• A relevant up-to-date qualification or industrial experience in a vocational area around Catering, Health & Social care, and Childcare.
• Previous experience of working with young people.
