Youth Matters Awards

YMCA’s 15th annual Youth Matters Awards will be held on Friday 15 November 2024 at City Central at HAC.

We couldn’t be more excited to celebrate the young people, staff, volunteers and projects from across 80+ amazing YMCAs, showcasing their outstanding achievements, inspiring feats against adversity and tireless dedication to creating change.

Following a public vote and more than 14,000 votes, we are pleased to announce the outstanding finalists for each category on Monday 9 September.

Get your tickets soon for the biggest YMCA event of the year

Early Bird Tickets for YMCA’s Youth Matters Awards go on sale Monday 9 September. Individual tickets can be purchased for £45 and a table of ten for £400.

Early Bird sales ends Monday 16 October.

Scarlett Moffatt

Scarlett Moffatt is a presenter and TV personality known for her hilarious quick-wit and Northern charm. She shot to fame after appearing on Gogglebox alongside her family in 2014, and was later crowned Queen of the Jungle on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here in 2016, which solidified her place on British screens.

Her warmth and bubbly personality have led Scarlett to land her several presenting roles including Saturday Night Takeaway (ITV), two series of Extra Camp (ITV2) and as the regular team captain on Celebability (ITV2). Her success in these roles led her to take on Davina McCall’s previous position as host of dating show Streetmate and to work alongside Dermot O’Leary at the National Television Awards.

City Central at The HAC

Set within the secure grounds of the Honourable Artillery Company, and against the stunning backdrop of the historic Armoury House and buildings, this iconic venue will set us up for an unbelievable evening.

The venue has its own private entrance off Chiswell Street, London, EC1Y 4TW.

Moorgate is the nearest underground station and is a very short walk from the venue. Moorgate is served by the Northern, Metropolitan, Hammersmith and City and Circle lines. Exit the station on to City Road and head towards Finsbury Square and Old Street. At the crossroads turn left on to Chiswell Street and on the right, there is a short road called Finsbury Street. At the end of that road, you will see the entrance to the venue. Taxis should drop guests off on Chiswell Street and then guests can walk down Finsbury Street to the venue entrance.

Established in 2009, these awards recognise the vital work YMCAs deliver day in and day out to create a brighter future for young people and communities across England and Wales. Each year it is an honour to commemorate and recognise the hard work and ingenuity of the individuals, teams and projects that have significantly impacted those YMCA serves for the better.
