We are incredibly grateful to have the support of charitable trusts and grantmakers who fund our general work or specific programmes. Their funding enables us to undertake a range of general projects and specific programs that are designed to help young people lead better lives. Through these initiatives, we aim to have a tangible impact on the lives of those we serve.
By supporting the work of the National Council for YMCAs in England and Wales, we can also provide support, representation, and development opportunities for our network of 85 local YMCA associations. We believe that by working together, we can achieve far greater things than we could ever accomplish alone.
As part of our commitment to making a positive impact, we are implementing the 2022-2030 Federation Strategy: Taking action, changing lives. This strategy is built around four key pillars: Leadership & Influence, Excellence & Impact, Growth & Reach, and Awareness & Support. Through this strategy, we aim to build stronger, healthier, and more sustainable communities, while also promoting social justice and equality. We are excited to see the positive changes that we can make by working towards these goals, and we are grateful for the support of our donors and partners in this important work

We would be delighted to chat to give you more information about how we support our members or deliver specific programmes where we have identified a collective need to do so.
Our member YMCAs are locally-based community specialists and, as such, respond to a range of needs in their local communities as registered charities in their own right. However, when a need or issue is experienced by the collective, the National Council will seek support by complementing and enhancing services and projects on the ground.
