This is an exciting opportunity for you to join YMCA Derbyshire.

YMCA Derbyshire is seeking a passionate, motivated and patient to help young people who have experienced barriers to education reach their full potential. You will coach, support them and deliver 1 to 1 and small group sessions to assist them in developing Math and English skills to gain a Level 2 functional skills or GCSE qualification.

Working Pattern: Sessional

About you

• CET/AET (Certificate/Award in Education and Training) or equivalent, or willing to work towards.
• Experience of delivering math lessons to small or large groups.
• Experience of working with young people aged 16 – 19.
• GCSE 4 (c) or higher in Math and/ or English.
• Experience of coaching and supporting young people to secure positive outcomes.
• Level 3 qualification in Math or relevant experience that demonstrates knowledge to this level.
